US Distribution Update

Hello Horse Girl backers,
We're writing this update to extend an apology towards you all for the issues in respect to shipping and fulfilment of Horse Girl. Especially to customers within the United States. Our initial estimates had the majority of customers receiving their orders by late November to early December, with a week or so at best delay. Unfortunately it didn't work out this way as our US distribution partner struggled to fulfil the quantity of orders during the holiday period, and communication broke down, causing a frustrating experience for backers.
We are incredibly sorry for this, it was not what we wanted from the fulfilment of Horse Girl. It's ultimately our responsibility to choose reliable shipping and distribution partners and ensure all of our orders are fulfilled promptly. To this end we are happy to announce that we have partnered with Sabre Games and Cards, who we are confident will provide a more satisfactory experience going forwards in respect to both orders on our online store and any future crowdfunding fulfilment.
In addition to this update, we have contacted the customers who were most affected by the shipping issues directly to see if there's anything more we can do to help. If you have not received your copy of Horse Girl, or have any other issues in respect to shipping and fulfilment please get in touch with us via [email protected] and we'll do everything we can to ensure you get your order.

Hello Horse Girl backers,
We're happy to announce that Horse Girl is now fulfilled!
We have sent out all UK, EU and Rest of World orders from the Leyline Press Studio today. UK orders have been sent with Royal Mail Tracked 48 and can expect to arrive within 3 working days. EU and Rest of World orders have been sent with Royal Mail Tracked International and can be expected to arrive within 10 working days. You will receive tracking information of your order in the next few days.
US orders are with our distributor and are currently in the process of being dispatched. US orders can expect their parcels to arrive within the next two weeks. You will receive tracking information from our distributor when your parcel is shipped out. We've asked our distributor to prioritise our shipments so that everything will be with you as quickly as possible.

Horse Girl Distribution Update

Hello Horse Girl Backers,
We're excited to announce that Horse Girl has finished production, all copies of the zines have been produced in the Leyline Press Studio and we've received the cards from our printers. We're really pleased with the quality of everything and can't wait to get them into your hands.
We've started the distribution process and you can find out more about that below.
Horse Girl Wave 1 (UK, EU and Rest of World)
We're starting distribution of all Horse Girl orders within the Leyline Press studio today. We anticipate all UK orders will arrive by next week, with EU and Rest of World orders arriving within 5-10 working days of this post. We'll further update when your orders have all been sent out. You should receive tracking information as parcels begin to be distributed. We'll also further update when shipping is complete.
A note that if you are in the EU or Rest of World you may receive additional custom charges on your orders. Please check with your local authorities.
Horse Girl Wave 2 (US ONLY)
We've shipped Horse Girl via airfreight to our US Distributor Floating Chair Club.(https://floatingchair.club/) We've paid an additional cost for this to make sure the game gets to you as quickly as possible. We estimate that the books will arrive in the US by 27/11/2023 where they will be sent to our distributor who will begin processing them that week. We anticipate US orders will begin to arrive by the end of November to December. You should receive tracking information as your parcels are sent out. We'll also further update when shipping is complete.

Dragonmeet
We're going to be exhibiting at Dragonmeet in London (https://www.dragonmeet.co.uk/) on Saturday the 2nd of December 2023! You can find us in the Lower Trade Hall at Stand 43. We'll have Salvage Union for sale as well as our range of other games including Foundations and Horse Girl. Please feel free to stop by and have a chat with us too, we're really looking forward to meeting fellow gaming enthusiasts during the day.
Horse Girl Retail Launch
For those that missed the Kickstarter Horse Girl will be available via our online store (www.leyline.press) on 1st of December 2023. This will include the Horse Girl Zine and Card Deck in both physical and digital form.
We're aware that not everyone will have received their rewards by this date, which we know isn't ideal. However we expect a majority of rewards will be received by this date. Any outstanding Kickstarter Backers or pre-orders will be prioritised over retail orders, so you will still have your copies of the game dispatched first.
We're currently in a position where we do have books we can begin to sell at retail, in the midst of an the most important sales season of the year. As a company, and two individual creators we need the additional funds so that we can continue to exist as a company and honestly pay both of our own living costs during a period of increasing inflation.
We do however apologise to anyone who may be understandably upset by this, and really appreciate your support and understanding. We hope if your order is currently outstanding that the quality of the books, the cheaper price you've received your rewards for, and the additional Kickstarter rewards have made it worth the wait.

Horse Girl is in production! Digital Edition 1.1 released. Last chance to pre-order.

Hello Horse Girl Backers,
Much good news in this update.
Production Update
Horse Girl is currently in production at the Leyline Press Studio, meaning we're riso-printing and assembling Horse Girl now. The Horse Girl cards have also finished production. We're on track to have all production finished by mid-November and we'll begin distribution straight away. You can find more details of that below.
Shipping Update
Shipping for Horse Girl will be split into two waves which we'll detail below.
Wave 1
Wave 1 shipping includes the UK, EU and Rest of the World. (Every region except for the US)
We'll be shipping Horse Girl from the Leyline Press Studio.
We'll be starting Wave 1 shipping as soon as we finish production on Horse Girl which we estimate to be mid November, and update when Horse Girl begins to be distributed. We'd hope all your copies will arrive by the end of November to early December at the latest.
Wave 2
Wave 2 includes all orders to the US only.
Wave 2 shipping is being handled by our US distributor Floating Chair Club. (https://floatingchair.club/ As soon as they're ready we'll be shipping Horse Girl to our distributor and they'll be sending it out to all US based backers. This will take an additional 2-3 weeks and we predict Wave 2 US distribution will be at the end of November to early December with copies arriving to you in December. We'll further update when Horse Girl arrives in the US and begins to be distributed.
Customs
A customs note:
The Horse Girl Physical Edition will be customs friendly in the EU and US.
The Horse Girl Bundles (with the Card Deck) will be customs friendly in the US.
The Horse Girl Bundles (with the Card Deck) may have additional customs charges in the EU and Rest of World. Please check this with your local authorities.
Horse Girl Digital Edition 1.1
We've updated all Digital files to 1.1. You can download them directly via BackerKit. The 1.1 edition is identical to the copies we've sent to print, with updates to typos and other errors in the text based on your feedback. Thanks again for all your help in that respect!
Other Digital Files
You should also now be fully updated on ALL digital files you have ordered of other Leyline Press games via BackerKit. Physical copies will be sent in your respective waves.
